The exceptional stay: five nights at the Mirleft surf camp, then the bivouac beyond Sidi Ifni, where a reef few people know is waiting. Supervised surf timed to the conditions, the large tent already pitched, dinner around the fire — four people per 4×4, not one more. A real expedition, not an excursion.
first, find the rhythm.
For the first nights you live the camp in full: supervised surf sessions timed to the conditions, lunches twenty metres from the water, home-cooked dinners at the camp. Full board, shared or private room — except that this time, you know you are going to leave.
Meanwhile the expedition is being prepared: we check the boards, read the swell forecasts to the south, watch the moon. The impatience is part of the stay.

Two hours of track beyond Sidi Ifni. The green cliff turns to stone, then to sand. At the camp, near Foum Assaka, the large tent is already pitched — one only, shared by the whole group. There is nothing to do but drop your bag and watch the day fall.
Evening in the desert: dinner around the fire, the day's catch, no signal, no light other than ours, the sea heard but not seen. Then the night under the shared tent, four people per 4×4 — that is what keeps the place intact.

In the morning, the heart of the expedition: a few hours around the tide on a reef nobody shares. Between sets you walk in the dunes, take shade beside the 4×4. Surfing becomes what it was at the beginning: rare.
On the way back you return slowly along the coast, hair full of salt. It is the only one of our stays that leaves a physical trace — sand, a happy tiredness, and the immediate urge to do it again.
