Terms of sale and registration.

Last updated 2026-06-13

These terms set out how registration, booking, payment, cancellation and the running of the stays offered by Almara work. They apply to any adult booking a stay; making a booking implies full acceptance of them.

Service description

Almara, whose operating base is in Mirleft, Morocco, directly organises and runs surf and discovery stays: accommodation, full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner), surf lessons supervised by a qualified instructor and travel to the surf spots.

Rates and packages are shown on the site. The return transfer from Agadir airport is offered as an option, at quote stage. Unless stated otherwise, the following are also not included: flights, personal expenses, insurance and medical costs.

Booking process

A booking request is made through the site (contact form or online booking) or by email. The booking becomes firm on receipt of a deposit of 30% of the stay price; the balance is paid no later than fifteen days before arrival. Payments are accepted by bank transfer or card.

A written confirmation setting out the details of the stay, the amount and the practical arrangements is then sent to the participant.

Cancellation summary

Any cancellation must be notified in writing. More than thirty days before arrival: full refund of the sums paid. Between thirty and fifteen days: 30% of the stay price is retained. Less than fifteen days: the full amount is retained.

The detail is set out in our refund policy (/legal/refund-policy). Any request to change (dates, package, number of participants) is considered subject to availability.

Force majeure

Neither party is liable for a failure caused by an event beyond its reasonable control: natural disaster, government travel ban, airport closure, war, civil unrest, public-health measures.

If the Surfcamp cancels the stay for such a reason, the participant is offered an equivalent package, a postponement, or a full refund of the sums paid, with no further compensation.

Liability limits

The Surfcamp is responsible for the proper performance of the services described in the booking confirmation. It cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure, of an act of the participant (failure to follow safety instructions, inappropriate behaviour) or of the failure of a third party unconnected with the services.

Surfing and water activities are practised under the participant's own responsibility. Taking out travel insurance (medical costs, repatriation, civil liability, cancellation) is strongly recommended. The equipment provided (board, wetsuit) remains in the participant's care during lessons.

Governing law

The stays and this site are governed by the law applicable at the place where the services are performed, in Mirleft, Morocco. The mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the participant's country of habitual residence apply where they are more favourable to them.

No waiver of a right provided for herein is effective unless made in writing.

Dispute resolution

Any complaint must be sent in writing as soon as possible, and no later than fifteen days after the end of the stay. The parties will endeavour to reach an amicable solution.

Failing that, the competent courts are those of the Surfcamp's jurisdiction; another regime may apply if the regulations of the participant's place of residence so provide. Contact: hello@surfcamp-almara.com.
