From September to May the North Atlantic is at work: steady swells, points waking up one after another, and water that stays mild — around nineteen degrees, barely cooler at the heart of winter. That is the full surf season in Morocco, seven months of it.

What level is Mirleft for?

• November–February — the heart of the Atlantic winter and its finest swells; the confident head for the points, beginners keep to the sheltered coves of Mirleft (water barely cooler, wetsuit provided).
• March–May — the swell stays steady, the days lengthen, the light is superb: the best compromise of waves and sun.
• June–August — the quieter summer: small waves, a warm sea, perfect for families and very first sessions.
